Negotiations between CVS and its workers are underway. It’s time for CVS management to show its appreciation for all the hard work and health risks that CVS workers have taken during the pandemic. But, instead of recognizing the workers’ sacrifices, CVS is proposing to reduce pay and take away benefits. This is totally unacceptable! Thousands of CVS workers from UFCW locals across California are standing together! CVS workers are essential and have been on the frontlines of the pandemic, taking all the risks to provide for our communities while CVS and its CEOs have raked in huge profits. CVS made almost $8 billion in profits and its CEO pulled in a salary of over $36 million in 2020. Now it’s time for CVS to take care of its workers and the community!
