Tentative Agreement Reached with Local 5 and Nob Hill Rally Cancelled
The UFCW Local 5 Nob Hill bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with Nob Hill for a new contract. As such, the rally scheduled for Friday December 8th has been cancelled.
The agreement improves retirement savings and healthcare coverage, lowers the hours needed to reach the top pay rate, adds full-time positions, and increases the experienced wage rate by $5 an hour over the term of the agreement. Full details of the agreement and an invitation to virtual information meetings will be included in the voting packets mailed out to the members next week. Notices will also be sent posted at the stores and online regarding the informational meetings.
The committee would like to thank the Nob Hill Local 5 members for their steadfast commitment to achieve this historical contract. It would not have been achievable without the efforts of the members voicing their willingness to do whatever it takes to reach a fair agreement.
