Nob Hill Bargaining Update 11.6.23
On October 31 and November 1, Local 5 leadership and your bargaining committee met with the Nob Hill Foods negotiating team to resume discussions for a new agreement. The committee has been increasingly frustrated by the slow progress thus far. Nob Hill continues to take a casual approach to our demands, showing minimal willingness to make proposals to meet the needs of our dedicated and hard-working Nob Hill members.
Your bargaining committee remains steadfast in their commitment to increase full-time opportunities, secure healthcare and pension benefits, and ensure wages align with the current financial needs in today’s challenging environment. We have told Nob Hill negotiators many times that our members are frustrated and are prepared to take action to secure an agreement. Look for opportunities in the coming days to demonstrate your desire for a fair contract now! Our next bargaining session is set for November 17th.
