Nob Hill Bargaining Update September 12th
The Nob Hill bargaining committee has met with the company to start bargaining for a new collective bargaining agreement. The committee wishes to thank all those who have filled out the bargaining survey as this help guide the course of negotiations and assist the committee with a fuller understanding of the Nob Hill Local 5 membership.
The bargaining committee has presented the company with comprehensive proposals that include items related to weekly hour guarantees, fortification of pension benefits, the maintenance of healthcare funding levels, and wage increases that reflect the hard work of our members and the high cost of living in the Bay Area.
We return to the bargaining table September 26th and have secured additional dates to continue bargaining. We will continue to provide updates throughout the course of negotiations. Please continue to visit our webpage for more information at ufcw5.org.
El comité de negociación de Nob Hill se ha reunido con la empresa para comenzar a negociar un nuevo convenio colectivo. El comité desea agradecer a todos aquellos que han completado la encuesta de negociación, ya que esto ayuda a guiar el curso de las negociaciones y ayuda al comité a comprender mejor los miembros del Local 5 de Nob Hill.
