Local 5’s bargaining committee is set to resume negotiations with Safeway management on April 3 and 4.

While talks with the Union’s largest food employer have yielded little progress so far compared to Lucky negotiations, Local 5 negotiators are confident that they have set the groundwork for meaningful discussion around the key issues of importance for members.
