October 11th Update: California UFCW Local Unions return to Bargaining with CVS
UFCW Locals 5, 135, 324, 648, 770, 1167, 1442, and 1428, representing more than 7,000 workers in California, are set to return to the bargaining table with CVS on Wednesday October 16th. The union members have already voted to authorize an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike against CVS and are prepared to walk out if needed. CVS profited $11 billion in 2023 and needs to share those profits with the workers who made them.
