Retired Local 5 representative Gary Feliciano passed away in October after a long illness. Gary began his career 1971 as a San Francisco Emporium employee and member of Department Store Employees Union Local 1100, a predecessor union to Local 5. He served as a Union Representative from 1996 until his retirement in 2011.

Local 5 President John Frahm remembered Gary, stating “I worked with Gary for many years and his passion for the union members he represented was evident in everything he did. The union movement lost a great advocate for workers and an even better man and friend. He will be missed by all.”
