Macy’s Bargaining Update January 9, 2023 Voting set for January 11th after negotiations on the 10th

The UFCW Local 5 bargaining committee returns to negotiations on Tuesday the 10th in hopes of reaching an offer that is acceptable to the Macy’s membership. An update will be sent following negotiations on the 10th regarding whether the union is recommending acceptance or rejection. If the offer from the company is rejected we will proceed with a strike on January 14th and 15th. We will be voting the agreement at the time and *location below. Please make every effort to attend. Do not let the company dissuade you from the real issues Macy’s workers face with misdirection and veiled threats.
