The proposed tentative agreement from See’s was strongly rejected by the UFCW Local 5 membership and economic action, including a strike, was authorized. The results clearly show that UFCW Local 5 See’s members are standing together in large numbers. We thank the membership for relaying the reasons for the rejection to our Union Representatives at the vote meetings. Local 5 will be in contact with the Employer to discuss these reasons shortly.
