Hello UFCW 5 Brothers & Sisters,

JOIN US this Sunday May 1^st UFCW5 will be participating in the annual San Francisco May Day March along Market St.

Celebrations of International Workers’ Day, also called May Day, date back over 100 years to the fight for an eight hour work day. We will be recreating the historic 1934 March up Market Street. In San Francisco, May 1 has also played host to a rich history of collective action by workers. This event will celebrate the past, present, and future of Labor and highlight important campaigns Labor is engaged in. UFCW will be the lead contingent this year, along with the Teamsters and the “Make Amazon Pay” campaign.

We would like to invite all of our members to join us in the parade. This will be a market share event, so you can get a discount on your dues by attending, and we will provide t-shirts to everyone who attends.
