The Safeway Union Bargaining Committee and Representatives of Safeway have narrowed down the last remaining issues to a handful. Nevertheless, the bargaining proposals still remaining on the table are important to reaching an agreement the Bargaining Committee believes is necessary to receive approval by the Safeway membership.

The Bargaining Committee has offered the dates of March 5^th and 6^th in an effort to finalizing a tentative agreement and is awaiting a response from the Company.
