EBoard Approves Financial Support to UFCW Local 7 Flood Victims
In September, Colorado was hit by record amounts of rainfall generating devastating flash floods that destroyed roads and lines of communications and inundated thousands of homes, forcing people to evacuate and leaving them stranded.
It has left many of our UFCW Local 7 sisters and brothers in Colorado in immediate and significant need of assistance. Some still struggle with damage to their homes while others have lost everything.
UFCW Activists Arrested at Massive Immigration March
On October 8, UFCW activists were among those arrested outside the U.S. Capitol while protesting the failure of House Republican leaders to pass comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship.
