French Workers in the Streets

French workers have taken to the streets in a battle over the government’s plans to slash labor protections. The politicians in Paris have decided to do away wit the 35 hour week and a host of health & safety and pay regulations. Proving that the Gallic workers’ ire is up, union members have shutdown newspapers, trains, buses and factories throughout the country. It is going to be a long, hot Summer in France.
